The PPG medical and prescription drug plans offer:
Disability benefits provide financial protection for you and your family if you become unable to work due to illness or injury. Additional leave benefits such as Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American's with Disabilities Act (ADA), unpaid and paid leaves are also offered.
Basic Life Insurance benefits provide financial protection for your family in the event of your death. Additional life insurance options may be offered based on your employee benefit affiliation.
Health Care: Pre-tax contributions where employees can set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible out-of-pocket health care, dental and vision expenses; not eligible if enrolled in the HDHP
Limited Purpose: Pre-tax contributions where employees can set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible dental and vision expenses; only offered to employees enrolled in the HDHP

Employee Education Assistance Program (EEAP) provides financial support if you wish to attend an accredited learning institution on personal time to obtain additional knowledge, skill, or other education. Requires management approval.
HSA is only offered to employees who enroll in the PPG High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and provides an opportunity to pay for qualified medical expenses with tax free dollars. PPG contributes HSA seed money on a semi-annual basis (January and July) to help pay for medical expenses.
The voluntary vision plan provides an array of benefits such as eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, etc. when using participating providers.
